I highly recommend finding time to learn about your gear. Entering this workshop, you should know what Manual mode is and have a very minimal understanding of ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. I promise you will understand how everything works if you participate in all shooting assignments. Photography is a fantastic craft, but it requires you to apply yourself and find time to learn independently and practice. I can teach you how to take photos and give you instructions, but it's up to you to take this education seriously and practice as much as you can

Meet Your Mentor
Hi, my name is Joanna, and I have over 20 years of experience in portrait photography. I have been a full-time photographer for a little over ten years. I was born and raised in Poland. When I was 20 years old, I moved to Toronto, Canada, where I was working as a family and kids portrait photographer for 10
years. In 2023, my family moved to sunny Florida.
I learned photography from my father. After high school, I took a year-long black-and-white commercial photography and (lm development course. With proper training and determination, you can become a fantastic photographer.
My favorite part about photography is scouting new locations and editing. My most significant career achievement is a photoshoot for Ritz-Carlton Toronto and a photo shoot for a Toronto bridal boutique.
My favorite session was "Tea Time with Great Grandfather."
I am here to take you on a fantastic journey and will teach you everything I know about photography.
